Verdict

Silver Star was there with every chance when falling two out in a Killarney handicap while BENTHAM looked the likely winner over 2m3f at Downpatrick before caught on the run-in. The shorter trip can see the latter lose his maiden tag over fences as Alice Avril was a disappointing odds-on favourite at Tramore after looking a nice prospect at Roscommon. Rippon Lodge may find a couple of these too quick as his Tramore victory came over 2m6f but Little Brother has shown some ability for chasing in his two starts to date.
