Verdict

None of these can be ruled out at the weights but Rock Critic, who is trained by Dermot Weld who had the winner in 2013, hasn't won on the Flat for more than three years and is having his first run since September. QUEEN OF ALBA has 13lb more to carry than when winning this 12 months ago but also won her only previous start over course and distance. She was well below par over 1m4f at the Curragh last time but this is her trip and she should take all the beating again. I'll Be Your Clown won his maiden over track and trip last year and, though he hasn't scored since, has been thereabouts in three of his four runs this season so warrants plenty of respect. The others are all returning from an absence.
