Verdict

WHO'S CROSS is likely to be a warm order after a promising start at Clonmel where he showed his inexperience by hanging badly left in the closing stages. He'll be better for the run and looks another for the Mullins team. Top Cat Henry did very well to finish runner-up to Connaught Manor at Roscommon as he ran wide on the turn and didn't have much room in the straight. That will have brought him on and he can go well while Nell's Nan showed the benefit of her opening run at Downpatrick with a better effort there last month. Ballyreesode appeared to find a great deal of improvement behind Cheyenne Girl at Kilbeggan and the winner can give the form a boost earlier on the card.
