In depth

Verdict

IRIDESCENT, a comfortable winner over timber at Ballinrobe, then scored over fences at Downpatrick and still looks on a reasonable mark. Mister Twist had been running well in handicaps before getting off the mark in a Downpatrick maiden while Gotthenod won for the sixth time over the trip at Wexford with Dinoland eight lengths behind. Goodnightngodbless has been in cracking form over fences and reverts to hurdles on a 5lb lower mark while Ballyglass Beauty overcame mistakes to get up close home over the course and distance last month. Early Approval is running well though hasn't been as far as this but Townhill Penny would have a real chance on her penultimate start at Tipperary in May and was struck into when well supported at Wexford. Pale Blue Dot was engaged in the 8.00pm at Bellewstown last night.
