Verdict

Ard Na Carraig just failed to concede a stone to Celtic Dancer at Limerick and the runner-up went one better on a return visit. Benefit Run battled on strongly to land a maiden here last month though this is tougher and GIVE BATTLE (NAP) looks the one to beat. From an in-form yard, he just failed to overhaul Here For The Craic at Cork on Saturday and can finally lose his maiden tag. Effernock Lad has been chasing and reverts to hurdles on an 18lb lower mark but Mr Moondance is 1-31 over hurdles. Atlas hasn't made much of an impact so far over timber but has been running well on the Flat.
