Verdict

Mouse Morris looks to have a strong hand here with FRIARY ROCK and Mr Lombardi. The former was undoubtedly disappointing when last seen at Thurles in February but had run in much stronger maidens previously and has the scope to do much better. The latter showed much improved form when attempting to make all over 2m4f at Cork where he was only caught in the closing stages. Crobally Boy has performed with credit in bumpers and is bred for this job as is Gordon Elliott's Coeur Aimant, who makes his hurdling bow after just one bumper run. Royal Aide has been running well over the minimum trip though has to concede weight all round but Kelter's Dawn led for a long way over 2m4f at Kilbeggan and was only beaten 3 lengths by Somptueux, who runs earlier.
