Lisdante gets the confident vote with Just Strong and Green go Rated as the main dangers. The selection has been very disappointing so far this season but with the drop in grade and the small field sure to suit he is given one last chance to get his head in front. Just Strong showed improved form to be third behind The Merry Mason last time but that was on rain-softened ground and he may not have enough toe at the age of 11 to race up with the pace on this faster surface. Green Go was a fair fifth behind Batten Down last time but he raced in snatches so is difficult to put forward with any great confidence. Red Alert Man has dropped to a handy mark and could run well at a price but one win 25 hardly inspires confidence and he is readily opposed. This is a race which will not take a great deal of winning and Lisdante should be up to the task in lowly grade.
