Armandihan has won twice on the Flat and is still rated 80. He is an interesting newcomer to hurdling here for Kevin Ryan with Brian Hughes taking the ride. Ray's The Money has a similar rating on the level and has already won a Market Rasen maiden over timber, though that has earned him a penalty. John Quinn has not yet managed to find a race for ASHINGTON on the Flat but he won twice over 1m4f last year for Luca Cumani. A switch to hurdles is likely to prove profitable in the short term. Dawn Trouper was a fair third at Newton Abbot and is no forlorn hope while 2m6f at Cartmel was clearly too far for Hexham second Charming Dream.
