In depth

Verdict

Both of Cailin Na Ri's wins have come here and this tough mare isn't ruled out despite a penalty, whereas Russian War is confidently opposed with his welter burden despite connections. The vote however goes to CLARACH who will be having her first start for Tim Vaughan. The trainer's records with other yard's cast-offs is well documented and in our selection he looks to have inherited a mare capable of winning races. When last seen she was set far too much to do at Tramore and with the prospect of improvement to come she's taken to make the most of the weight received. Bumper winner Ceasar's Return was travelling well in a similar race prior to falling when last seen and a market check is needed to assess his chance while BHA ratings point towards the chance of Lady Jinks but she was pulled up after an early mistake at Hereford and has something to prove.
