In depth

Verdict

Lord O' All Seasons gets the vote over Moscowtastic, with Polish Cloud worth a cursory mention. Although in the veteran stage now at the age of 13, Lord O'All Seasons showed that there is still a small race to be won when third to The Butterwick Kid at Newcastle last month on what was his first outing since last April. Sporting the now familiar pink colours of the Davidson family, he should give daughter Rose another winner with improvement on that comeback run to come. Moscowtastic finished fourth to the useful Drombeag at Sedgefield on his first run under rules, but the fact that he was 50 lengths behind the winner tempers any enthusiasm. Nevertheless, at the age of eight he has more scope than most. Polish Cloud was a fair novice chaser for Tom George at one time and might be worth following at this game, but will be in need of the outing, while Donnybrook has little improvement to offer. For the winner we return to Lord O'All Seasons.
