A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Reasonably Sure, Jeringa and Shady Merlin and the tentative vote is given to Reasonably Sure. The selection was a fair second behind Dumadic last time out; this faster surface looks sure to suit and off the same mark he looks a value bet in an open affair. Jeringa rates the main danger on his latest second behind Arctic Ghost but he looks vulnerable under top weight. Shady Merlin is another that could go well on his latest third behind Nebraska City but he has had plenty of chances and is becomming hard to win with. Of the remainder, the booking of Tony Dobbin for Nomadic Blaze catches the eye while Sound Of Cheers has dropped to a handy mark and could go well at a price with this faster ground in his favour but for the winner we return to Reasonably Sure to small stakes.
