In depth

Verdict

It’s a long time since Heartbreak Kid last ran over hurdles but he was 2-2 here in 2020. Moonlight Glory could figure if on a going day and Mothill has travelled up from Wiltshire. He ran twice on the Flat after winning at Uttoxeter in June. HARPER VALLEY (NAP) clearly didn’t last home over 3m at Aintree and, though 5lb higher than when scoring over track and trip earlier, William Maggs claims 7lb today.
