In depth

Verdict

Douchkirk had a subsequent winner behind when runner-up at Fontwell last time but today's testing ground is a worry for him. WILLIE HALL makes more appeal as he made the frame over a longer trip in heavy going here last time when Indigo Island finished three lengths behind in fifth. A good run from the winner Markem, who runs earlier on today's card, would boost confidence and he gets the nod. Fred Bojangals is tempting off a lower mark back over timber but he's another who would prefer a faster surface while Bonnie Burnett has a shout on her placed efforts at this time last year, though she arrives for this badly out of form.
