Professor Higgins ran his best race to date over hurdles last time but that form still leaves him plenty to find with Osolomio; Westfields makes some appeal on paper. Osolomio looked to have the measure of the final flight faller when making a winning debut at Chepstow; the form is rock solid run and was given a boost when the runner-up scored at Towcester on Sunday. He was far from disgraced when a distant second to a Paul Nicholls runner last time and doesn't face anything of that class here. Professor Higgins is heading the right way judged on his latest effort and he could be a danger if building on that run given that he's in receipt of 7lbs here; he does have a fair bit to find however. Few of the remainder jump off the page although Westfields is related to winners and would merit consideration if the vibes were positive. The standard is set by Osolomio though and he's selected.
