In depth

Verdict

EQUUS DANCER beat last week’s Market Rasen winner Outcrop by nine lengths on his chasing debut over track and trip and a 7lb rise in the weights is unlikely to be enough to prevent a double. Just Call Me Al was beaten when falling in that contest but Slanelough often runs well, though just can’t get his head in front where it matters. Onthefrontfoot was last of three finishers at Ludlow but broke a blood vessel so better is expected with Ladronne also open to improvement after a run in stronger company at Carlisle.
