Verdict

ALAPHILIPPE easily won a point at Belharbour in February and, though finding 2m too short on his bumper debut at Ffos Las, made a successful start for Fergal O'Brien. He was then very impressive over this sort of trip on his hurdling bow at Ayr and it will take a very good performance to beat him despite a penalty. Falcone De Bersy never looked like winning here earlier this month though battled on and should have come on for the run but Time Leader was having his ninth run between the flags when landing a Kilfeacle maiden in January. Won't Talk could provide the main threat as he was challenging when falling at the last on his debut in a point-to-point then won at Ballycahane and didn't get the run of the race on his debut for Charlie Mann at Wetherby.
