In depth

Verdict

Celtic Legend returned to winning ways in good style last time and can follow up that success this afternoon, Bob's Buster and Pure Brief look to be the best alternatives. Keith Reveley's six-year-old landed that hurdles event at Wetherby in game fashion, beating Amazing Valour by a neck. He is better known as a chaser and that effort should have set him up nicely for a good campaign over the larger obstacles. Bob's Buster may have bounced last time but has chances on his previous effort at Hexham when a close up third behind Loy's Lad. Meanwhile Pure Brief has to be given a chance on the form he showed during the summer when landing races at Bangor and Southwell. Risky Way and Hollows Mill also have claims on the pick of their form, but Celtic Legend looks back to his best and can make it two wins in a row.
