In depth

Verdict

It is difficult to escape the claims of Onefourseven and the Pat Haslam-trained gelding should find this trip more to his liking as he bids to get off the mark over hurdles. Son Of Snurge and Corries Wood are both respected as live dangers, whilst it is hard to equate just what Pebble Bay achieved in finishing as runner up on his racecourse debut last month and he may be best watched for the time being. Therefore, Onefourseven, winner of six races on the Flat on a variety of going, looks to be the safest option after a series of solid efforts in defeat since reverting to hurdles earlier in the season.
