Verdict

Rated 114 after seconds at Exeter and Newton Abbot in the spring, LIGHT EM UP NIGEL (NAP) is the one to beat in a modest maiden if fully wound-up. Three Platoon has shown promise in a couple of runs over timber and should be next best as Spirit Of Regulus looked to crying out for a longer trip when fourth in a Bangor bumper. Lucky Light, having a first run for Les Eyre, might be the pick of the remainder.
