In depth

Verdict

Harry Cobden partnered Hassadin to a comfortable victory at Fontwell and claims 7lb here. Michael Blake's 10-year-old should go well again but has never won back-to-back races. Newcastle runner-up Vodka Red needs plenty of visual aids but can't be ruled out and makes more appeal than remote Kelso second Oscar O'scar at the weights. Court Of Law is better treated than over fences but finished last at Uttoxeter over hurdles. MOON ARC, a soft-ground winner on the Flat, should do better now going handicapping and his weight-for-age allowance will be useful in the conditions. He looks a better bet than the other four-year-old Poet Mark.
