A few frustrating types are brought together here and this is a race where only the very brave will be going in heavily with a punt. Karajan and Beechbrook Gale are not hard to pass over on the grounds of lack of experience so a slender vote goes to Celtic Vision - despite his unconvincing profile. Montessori Mio ran as if there was something amiss so it would be no surprise to see Urban Hymn - a one-time starlet of Martin Pipe's - has never lived up to his potential but it would be no surprise for him to figure strongly at this level. However, Celtic Vision is beginning to get the hang of things over fences and should have enough ability to see off this bunch today. He would not want the ground to soften up considerably but he looks the logical choice in a pretty moderate contest.
