Verdict
Billfromthebar is yet another McCain recruit from the point-to-point circuit. He will know his job and will probably take all the beating but it's difficult to ignore the record of Stuart Crawford's bumper horses here so THE VILLAGE gets the nod. By Laahib out of a Slip Anchor mare, the newcomer shouldn't be short of speed and the yard won this last year. Robbers Roost and Rene Le Roi have the benefit of previous experience and look best of the rest.
