Pretty Miss Mahler, twice a winner over hurdles, can only improve on her third at Hexham while Shine Away won at Cartmel last summer, though hasn’t raced since pulling up at Uttoxeter in November. AVONDHU PEARL (NAP), a winning pointer in Ireland, has her first run over fences in this country. Her yard is in good form and she ran her best race so far for Stuart Coltherd over hurdles last month.
