In depth

Verdict

Dark And Dangerous beat LOCHALSH six lengths over 2m1f here on Boxing Day with Copt Hill a further nine lengths away in third. But the runner-up is now 6lb better off and, with an extra quarter-mile to cover, is fancied to take his revenge today and add to his victory at Ayr last week. Captain Mowbray is a danger as the Wetherby second is closely matched with the selection on a line through Little Bruce. Miss Barbossa is tumbling down the weights and should take advantage in the coming weeks in this grade.
