Verdict

Nothing strong in a modest contest but MY POEM is worth chancing despite being 4lb out of the weights. The sole 4-y-o in the line-up didn't run at all badly at Chepstow last time, also in handicap company, and the first-time application of cheekpieces may spark further improvement for this winner on the Flat for Sir Michael Stoute. Cash Again is probably best watched after being tailed off on return from a break, whereas Alright Marlene, also back from a break, has every chance on the form of her last run when a Market Rasen second, with Alex Edwards a good booking and the drop in trip not a concern. Getaway Jewel goes well here and completes the shortlist.
