Verdict

Maxed Out King was conceding 7lb to Roxyfet when they were 1-2 here in November. The latter will be 3lb better off for just under a length so there's little between them with preference just for the winner. GETAWAY NORTH, who was beaten 12 lengths that day, has made great strides subsequently and won a novices' handicap at Catterick from today's rival Elixir in the style of a progressive type. He can go in again though Cobra Commander produced a much better effort at Ludlow and looks a threat with improvement expected. Joly Maker is only 2lb higher than his only victory to date at Southwell in October but has run poorly the last twice.
