Verdict

Mondlicht is 0-15 over hurdles and is up against some potentially nice prospects here. Fellow Flat winner Moccasin is going jumping late in life while former pointer The Bay Oak may not have the pace for this but another winner between the flags, Monsieur Arkadin, won a Huntingdon bumper in May and Le Breuil also won in that sphere. Jonagold is becoming expensive to follow so COSETTE, a rare runner here for Caerphilly trainer Bernard Llewellyn, is preferred and the mare can come out on top if she improves a little on her neck second to Solstalla at Newton Abbot.
