In depth

Verdict

The short list for the bumper consists of Rocca's Boy, Seaplace and Legal Joy, with the vote going to Rocca's Boy. Much as he did not build on his debut win at Huntingdon last time, Rocca's Boy, who is a half-brother to a Park Hill Stakes winner, has been found what seems to be another fairly soft race and ought to go well. Seaplace cost 45,000 euros, hails from a good yard and has something to like on breeding. Finally, Oakapple Princess cost 20,000 euros and is no forlorn hope on breeding and both Lucius Rufo and Legal Joy hinted at promise on their debuts, and Indian Storm should be noted in the betting but, for the selection, we will stick with Rocca's Boy.
