Lambourn trainer Jo Hughes doesn't send many here so it's interesting to see Callisto Moon, who rattled up a hat-trick on the Flat earlier this summer, carrying top weight. He was only fourth when favourite off this mark at Hereford a week ago however. Royal Entourage won three times last season but was tailed off in a pipe-opener on the Flat last month while Formulation has yet to win a race of any description. Hunters Belt was placed a couple of times at Perth last month and should be thereabouts again but there should be more to come from the lightly-raced MISSTREE PITCHER. Brian Ellison's mare has won a couple of times between the flags and shown enough over hurdles to suggest she can pay her way. Stratford was probably a little sharp for her last time.
