Verdict

Course and distance winner WHATCANYASAY can over come top weight and score ahead of Sycho Fred and Teviot Lass. The selection took that victory last time out ahead of some of the rivals that re-oppose here. The form from the contest has stood up well, producing plenty of winners, and despite up six pounds for that he looks good to make it five wins from 13 starts at this track. One of those behind the selection in early December was Sycho Fred who faces his conqueror on much the same terms. Since their meeting he has won a race of his own, that was over slightly longer at Market Rasen last time out and although convincing his profile suggests he should be taken on here. Teviot Lass is still unexposed enough to find some improvement on her promising run here on boxing day over a slightly shorter trip. She has the potential to be well handicapped now and the way she finished last time suggests she should be in closer order. Dawn Ride has plenty to find on the pick after finishing behind him in December while Sound Of Cheers could be a good each-way play but we're with the top weight Whatcanyasay.
