The card ends with another tricky handicap and we will give the verdict to San Peire, Star Time and Zaffie Parson are the likely dangers. Howard Johnson's nine-year-old made a seasonal return at this track last month. He does have a good record on this course, but ran as though needing the outing. He was up with winner rounding the home turn, but came to the end of his tether on the run to the second-last and was then run out of second place by today's rival Zaffie Parson. He will have benefited from that race and should go very close this afternoon. Star Time does look to be the obvious danger. He did well to finish second to the well backed English Jim last time out and a repeat of that run should see him involved in the finish. City Music and Minster Shadow are also worth a mention but our idea of the winner is San Peire.
