In depth

Verdict

Taroum won at Huntingdon late last month and almost followed up at Stratford. He has a penalty again here but Josh Hamer takes off 5lb and he should be thereabouts. Cara Court has won twice here but lacks a recent run while Executive's Hall has reverted to type since justifying favouritism at Cartmel in July. Southwell second Graceful Descent may be the pick of Karen Tutty's two runners but BEN CEE PEE M should take all the beating. He clearly likes fast ground and can race off the same mark as when easily landing a conditionals' event over 2m6f here nine days ago - Craig Gallagher's allowance is again a big plus.
