Verdict
This looks a match between Beaugency and Little Task and the tentative vote is given to Little Task. The selection showed improved form to win well last time out when beating Farington Lodge, and although he has a penalty for that victory, he still looks ahead of the handicapper and under conditions that suit he will be hard to beat. Beaugency rates the main danger as he has been in the form of his life of late and also won well last time when beating Sovereign State, although that form has since been let down and, under his penalty, he looks vulnerable. Thepubhorse would have a chance on his best form but he was pulled up for no apparent reason last time out reason so cannot be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder, Lion Guest has dropped to a handy mark and could run well at a price but, for the winner, we return to Little Task who won with plenty in hand last time out.
