The progressive BISHOPS COURT completed a four-timer with last month’s victory at Wincanton. He’s been raised a further 6lb but looks worth sticking with until beaten in his current form. The consistent On The Road is another in fine fettle and shrugged off a hike in the weights to win easily over track and trip last time while Volvalien won a novices’ handicap over 2m here in January. Wolf Sword failed to cope with a 5lb rise having won at Uttoxeter earlier and Cabragh remains 9lb higher than January’s win at Bangor.
