Verdict

THE CHARACTER defied a penalty to win for the second time in novice company when successful at Musselburgh last month. There should be more to come from him now handicapping. Spiculas landed a double in 2014 including a victory over track and trip but hasn’t raced since while Perseid won at Bangor early this year but was well beaten off a higher mark last time. Lightening Rod drops in class after a couple of modest efforts and should finish closer in this.
