        Verdict

        Emma Lamb improved on an earlier run at Hexham when fifth at Kelso in May and has had wind surgery over the summer. Winning pointer C'est Le Bonheur will be popular given connections but GOLDENCARD probably sets a decent standard on his run behind Auntie Mary at Kelso and shouldn’t be far away here. Rafferty was a well-backed favourite at Southwell last month and holds Magic Dragon on that run, though Brian Hughes deserts him in favour of the selection today.
