OXWICH BAY has only won once over hurdles and has been racing over fences but he takes a further drop in grade in this and is very well handicapped over the smaller obstacles nowadays. Roxyfet has won eight times around here, twice over hurdles. He’s 8lb than when successful last month but can never be ruled out on this track. Amlovi and Snowed In were respective winners at Plumpton and Catterick last time but Dequall needed the help of the stewards at Carlisle after finishing a well-beaten second.
