      Verdict

      Golden Melodie is the most exposed of these and was still well beaten when runner-up here recently with CAUGHT IN A TRAPPE further behind. But the latter suffered from a wide draw on that occasion having been beaten only a length on her earlier debut and looks worthy of another chance on that form given today’s more favourable draw. Curvaceous folded in the closing stages of her debut having shown early pace while Thick Smoke drops down into claiming company and is preferred to both Polar Route and Dozo.
