        Verdict

        Swendab went close over 6f at Bath last week and should be thereabouts again as he won three times over today's shorter trip last term. Amazon Twilight's only win so far came over further, though she was only beaten a short-head over 6f at Folkestone last time, while Irish Boy remains in the handicapper's grip. PETER ISLAND ended a long losing run on his seasonal debut at Brighton and given he has a bit to play with at the weights judged on his best form, John Gallagher's charge is taken to follow up off a 5lb higher mark.
