Xeeran has plenty on pedigree to like and she can see off the Godolphin trained Liwa's Lake. Michael Jarvis' charge is closely related to a number of winning sprinters, most notably Jack Berry's evergreen Bolshoi. She can land a first juvenile race of the season for her handler. Liwa's Lake has a predominantly American led blood line. Her sire took the Champagne Stakes at Belmont Park for Nick Zito so there is every suggestion that while she is likely to be a winner this term, she'll need further. Touch Of Silk was unfancied on debut while Roger Charlton's Heidi Dash was suspiciously easy to back on debut and this lack of confidence was vindicated in her track effort. Jewel In The Sand is related to some juvenile winners but appears on breeding to be one who will be better for experience. Xeeran is given as our selection.
