Verdict

Judge Davidson is sure to be a popular order to follow up his Kempton win and is certain to go well under his penalty. He is well drawn and is open to improvement at this trip. He will not have things all his own way as Al Mohallab, who looked in need of the outing at Newmarket is a class act and will go well despite giving weight away all round. This faster ground is also a bonus. Zandicular has more abilty than he cares to show, while Perfect Storm, who hasn't been seen since the Guineas meeting may just need this. The Gaikwar is open to plenty of improvement and may well take a hand in the finish, but he took a lot of winding up when winning at Newmarket and it is doubtful whether this track will bring out the best in him.
