Verdict
The superbly-bred TIME TEST started odds-on for a conditions race at Newbury on his debut but found a previous winner a neck too good. He'll know more here and must be one for the short-list even though that form hasn't worked out. Carnival King was third over 6f at Windsor last month and a market check is advised on a host on interesting newcomers. Felix De Vega is a half-brother to Layali Al Andalus, who won over 1m as a juvenile, while International Name should win races. Stravagante is by Rip Van Winkle out of a Rock Of Gibraltar mare but Sugar Boy's pedigree suggests he'll do better when tackling further.
