Verdict

A very good renewal of the Listed National Stakes. Prince Of Denmark has done nothing wrong but his penalty is going to make things tricky. Russian Fancy also has a penalty but has solid form to his name and can go well. Vienna's Boy has to improve markedly on the bare form of his Folkestone. Lualua also won well on his debut but more is needed as the form has taken some knocks. Under My Spell probably falls short of this standard. However, Ma'soola is rated one of Mick Channon's better juveniles and her debut second to the smart La Cucuracha at Newbury - where Incise was third - is solid form. As such, she is the selection.
