Sir Henry Cecil has won this twice in recent years and MORANT BAY handled soft ground well enough when fourth on her debut at Nottingham in November. She also gave the impression this longer trip would suit and gets the vote to open her account. The other three runners with experience all made their debuts in the same race at Newbury in October when Caitlin finished well ahead of both Bondi Mist and Virginia Gallica for third place. An entry in the Oaks suggests there's more to come and she can confirm superiority today while it's worth keeping an eye on the newcomer Lascaux as John Gosden won this with the high-class Dar Re Mi in 2008.
