Anzum Tends to improve with racing so don't be surprised if he steps up again on last time out second to Maid Equal; further rain would enhance the claims of this thorough stayer.
Bacchanal (IRE) Winner of the Stayers' Hurdle at Cheltenham last season who reverts to hurdles after a spell novice chasing this term and difficult to know whether he can reproduce his old form; impossible to ignore as he has a touch of class.
Baracouda (FR) Mightily impressive on British debut in Ascot's Long Walk Hurdle but reportedly in need of the outing at Fontwell since; comes here after a recent success in France and stable sure to have him cheery ripe again.
Behrajan (IRE) Four lengths third to Bacchanal in the Stayers' Hurdle; has shown useful form over fences since but like Bacchanal now reverts to hurdles.
Carlovent (FR) Put up a gutsy performance to win a handicap at Aintree last time; that may have taken a lot out of him and against stiffer company has more to do now anyway.
It's Wallace Has some respectable form but looks out of his depth here.
Merry Masquerade (IRE) Thorough stayer who won't mind the ground; stable's current poor form is a major worry.
Rodock (FR) Beaten when falling at Aintree behind Red Striker last time; reverts to hurdles here and interesting that Tony McCoy chooses him over Carlovent, but difficult to fancy.
Springfield Scally Soft ground stayer who will relish the conditions; held by Carlovent on Aintree running though and likely to find at least one too good again.
Sudden Shock (GER) Has some useful form in France but likely to struggle on British debut in this company.
Celtic Native (IRE) Held by Baracouda on Ascot form but has been given a break since; could be interesting.
