Verdict

Bridgehampton is only 5lb higher than when scoring over the course and distance a year ago but a long absence isn't a help in a race where so many are in form. ENGLISH SUMMER will relish the trip having found 1m4f too short at Haydock where he was staying on strongly at the finish. He's 2lb lower here and Silvestre De Sousa can steer him home. Porcini made all for a comfortable success over 1m5f at Newmarket and though 5lb higher must be respected under regular pilot William Carson. Into The Wind would be suited by some give and if the expected rain arrives she will be a threat from her lowly spot in the handicap.
