Those to have raced previously have shown little and it would be a surprise if this didn't fall to one of the well-bred newcomers. Sir Michael Stoute unleashes a potentially smart performer in the shape of South Atlantic, a Sadler's Wells half-brother to several useful winners from the family of Petoski, while David Loder's Royal Dignitary also makes plenty of appeal on breeding and, along with the well-connected Barney McAll, should be noted in the market.
