Verdict
Contradict, who cost 130,000gns, is set to be Sir Michael Stoute's first two-year-old runner of the season. At that price, it's no surprise that she has a decent pedigree but she's drawn in the centre of the track as is Upward Spiral, a 60,000gns daughter of Teofilio who should be winning sooner rather than later. JUBILEE DIAMOND is by high-class two-year-old Redback out of the very speedy Nice One Clare and shouldn't be lacking in pace. Richard Hannon's filly has the plum draw and can make a winning debut as Fiducia has already been beaten at Lingfield and Brighton while Barbs Princess may need today's experience.
