Verdict

Richard Hughes rates a good booking for Angus Glens who was never in danger when scooting away to land a Yarmouth seller. He should go well enough but this is much tougher. MEETINGS MAN has done much to put Ali Brewer on the map and must be a stable favourite after notching five successes for the yard, including a recent Newmarket success under the impressive Cam Hardie who's back in the saddle here. His stamina is assured over this trip, which affords him preference over the less-exposed Gambol, who looks a major danger all the same on the back of a battling Doncaster success on just a fifth career start. He is likely to stay the additional distance and should improve again for a trainer doing so well since being forced back into action.
