DICK TURPIN won the Greenham Stakes on his reappearance last season and went on to prove himself a top-class miler, finishing second in the 2000 Guineas and the St James's Palace Stakes before winning the Group 1 Prix Jean Prat at Chantilly. Richard Hannon's colt looks the one to beat though Music Show also did well last season, ending her campaign with a fine fourth to Sahpresa in the Sun Chariot Stakes at Newmarket in October. Cityscape proved a progressive sort in the autumn but more is needed here while Dream Eater has never beyond 7f, though has some excellent races over this trip and goes well fresh.
